About
Guten Tag, ich heiße Lyra — a musician, goldsmith, and jewellery designer currently based in Berlin. Born in South Korea and lived in Canada for 16 years, I’ve always been deeply passionate about music. Classically trained in piano and violin until age 10, I discovered metal at 11, taught myself guitar, and became the lead vocalist in several metal bands, including Illvsionia.
Alongside my musical journey, I studied Jewellery Arts in college, which led to my work as a goldsmith. My natural curiosity drives me to explore a range of subjects — from languages (I speak four) to coding, which has expanded my horizons.
Since relocating to Germany, I’ve focused on producing solo music (more here) and crafting bespoke gold and silver jewellery (more here).
While my curiosity keeps me constantly learning new things, it often leaves me feeling restless. To find balance, I’ve embraced biking and outdoor activities, bringing a sense of peace to my otherwise busy lifestyle.
